Is This the Legendary Cup That Jesus Drank From? Historians Claim They've Found the Holy Grail in Spain (VIDEO)
Two researchers claim they've found the Holy Grail of artifacts from the life of Christ, being, well, the Holy Grail. The center of the popular film "Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade," the Grail is the legendary cup that Jesus drank from during the Last Supper.
In their new book, "Kings of the Grail," Margarita Torres and Jose Manuel Ortega del Rio assert that ancient Egyptian scrolls say that Muslims stole the legendary cup from Jerusalem and brought it to Egypt. The cup was then decorated with jewels to mask its identity and given to King Ferdinand I of Spain as a gift.
The researchers believe the Holy Grail is a chalice that's been on display in the San Isidoro Basilica in Leon, Spain since the 1950s.
