Jef Holm Partying Without Emily Maynard: Relationship on the Rocks?

Is Jef Holm putting his partying ways behind him, or is he celebrating his freedom? At a new party in Hollywood, Holm was photographed dancing with and having a great time without fiancée Emily Maynard, adding to the rumors that their relationship is rather troubled.

Holm attended the release party for the new game "Just Dance 4" alongside Ashley Benson and Cody Barker. The trio appeared to enjoy themselves, and Holm seemed perfectly comfortable without Maynard by his side. It's one of the first times the couple has not been in public together since announcing their relationship to the world.

Last week, rumors surfaced that Holm was being paid off by Maynard to fake their relationship and protect her image. Neither party stepped forward to refute the claim, adding fuel to the fire, given that both came out against statements previously made by Holm's brother.

"Jef said their relationship isn't what it seems. It's all basically for TV," former girlfriend Kaylee Shepherd told Us Weekly. "I said, 'You're terrible,' and he said, 'No, I'm not! She strung me along and was talking to another guy the whole time!'"

Holm and Maynard have been in the public's eye since their relationship began on "The Bachelorette." The show does not have an impressive track record for successful relationships or marriages, but Holm and Maynard both seemed determined to make their relationship work, especially since Maynard's daughter, Ricki, is involved.

Holm was the first and only contestant on "The Bachelorette" to meet Ricki, which sealed his fate with Maynard. Since then, the couple has moved slowly in order to help Ricki adjust to the changes and Holm's presence. Yet rumors have plagued the couple ever since they first got together.

Will they make it to the altar? Holm and Maynard have tentatively planned a Spring 2013 wedding but have not revealed a more specific date. Plenty of people will be following their story, though, to see if it has a happy ending.
