Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux Split in 2014? Actor 'Got Cold Feet'

Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux fueled split rumors in recent weeks after the actress celebrated her birthday without the actor and a new report suggests their engagement may be off.

On Feb. 11 Aniston celebrated her 45th birthday with close friends in Los Angeles however Theroux, 42, opted instead to party with friends in New York. The Hollywood couple has reportedly been living apart since last year and insiders claim they have not seen one another for more than one month.

"It's been a long distance relationship for a while. But the thing that's making everyone think it might be over is that Jen and Justin don't really seem to care," a source told LifeandStyle magazine.

"They're not putting in any effort to spent time together," the source continued. "It's like they're both single again."

The former "Friends" actress is believed to have dined at West Hollywood hotspot Soho House on her birthday with Courteney Cox, her hairstylist Chris McMillan and Jennifer Meyer, who is the wife of Tobey Maguire. Theroux, who proposed in 2012, is believed to have partied with actor Orlando Bloom at Great jones Café which raised doubts about their relationship.

"Justin knew that it would make the news that he was partying with Orlando on Jen's birthday but he didn't care," a source told Star magazine. "He did it to send a message that he was done."

Theroux, who starred alongside Aniston in the 2012 film "Wanderlust," began dating the actress in 2011. The actor is currently living in New York where he is filming his upcoming series "The Leftovers," but Aniston still lives in the couple's Bel Air home and a source claims they may never make it down the aisle.

"Justin was crazy about Jen during the first year they were together but shortly after he proposed, he got cold feet," the source said.

"Her constant nagging over getting married and having children made things worse," the source continued. "He realized he enjoyed being away from Jen more than being with her but he didn't have the courage to break off the engagement."
