Jessica Simpson Gushes About Married Life; Fashion Mogul Changing Last Name

Jessica Simpson recently opened up about married life more than two months after her wedding to Eric Johnson.

Simpson, 34, a fashion mogul, wed the former NFL star Johnson, 35, before 250 friends and family members at the San Ysidro Ranch in Santa Barbara, California on July 5. During an appearance on the "Today Show" Wednesday, Simpson revealed that their relationship has grown stronger since their nuptials.

"Marriage has changed us in a lot of ways," she told NBC's Matt Lauer. "We are a little more addicted to each other. There is a level of love that has reached the highest of highs."

The couple, who shares two children Maxwell, 2, and Ace, 13 months, wed in a lavish ceremony and the reception had an enchanted theme. Simpson's father Joe officiated the non-denominational ceremony.

"We have felt like ever since we got married, we've been kind of living on this honeymoon," she told Ryan Seacrest last week. "Life is better."

Among the guests was Simpson's younger sister Ashlee and her husband Evan Ross, actress Jessica Alba and her husband Cash Warren, and Simpson's best friend CaCee Cobb and her husband Donald Faison.

Simpson also revealed to Lauer that she plans to follow tradition by taking Johnson's last name. She and Johnson have been involved since May 2010 and their wedding marked second marriages for both.

"When I renew my license that's very expired, I'm going to be Jessica Johnson," she said.

Last week the former singer turned reality TV star said that while she and Johnson love being parents, they have no plans to expand their family at this time.

"Oh, we are done," Simpson told Ryan Seacrest. "I say we're done. I don't want to accidentally get pregnant one day and then that poor kid feels like it wasn't meant to be or something. We've got the girl and we've got the boy."

On August 30, Simpson's younger sister Ashlee wed Ross in a private ceremony.
