The day after Jimmy Kimmel returned to his late-night show, Piers Morgan, who was the youngest editor of the British tabloid News of the World and has hosted and co-hosted TV shows in the U.K., as well as at CNN and Fox News in the U.S., said Kimmel  has become "a partisan political activist, not a comedic host."

"Hard to feel sympathy for Jimmy Kimmel and his crocodile tears given how gleefully he has always gorged on the career entrails of conservative stars who lost their jobs like Tucker, Roseanne etc.," Morgan wrote in a Wednesday X post.
