JLo Divorce With Marc Anthony Reportedly Getting 'Vicious'

Jennifer Lopez and her estranged husband, Marc Anthony, are set for a long legal battle after the three-time Latin Grammy award-winner became infuriated by news that JLo’s new boyfriend has been getting along with their children, sources said.

The couple announced their split on July 15, 2011, after a seven years of marriage, and although things looked set for a peaceful and straightforward divorce, Anthony is now ready to make Lopez “suffer” for hurting him, US Weekly reported.

The reason for the 43-year-old’s sudden change in attitude is said to be news that Casper Smart, Lopez’s new romantic partner, who also happens to be one of her backup dancers, has been getting close with Max and Emme, the 3-year-old twins Anthony fathered with Lopez. Although he initially ceded primary custody of the kids, he is now reportedly ready to fight for them.

A source revealed to the magazine that Anthony “hit the roof” when he saw photos of Smart with his kids and Lopez on vacation in Kauai, Hawaii, over Thanksgiving.

“It caused a huge blowup,” the unidentified source added, and claimed that Anthony is now planning to make Lopez suffer “because she is having fun with someone new,” since he knows that trying to take custody of their children will hurt her deeply.

Another source that was not named by the magazine said that Lopez is ready for a fight and that the situation might get “vicious.”

Back in January, Lopez had credited Max and Emme for helping to keep her and Anthony together, Contactmusic.com shared.

Lopez reportedly said: “The kids made Marc and I stronger... There have been tough times. Having kids made us both see that there`s a bigger picture. We still fight but we know that at the end of the day, we have these amazing children that need us. We promised each other never to go to bed angry.”
