Johnny Galecki, Kaley Cuoco Romance Revealed: 'We're Still Dear Friends'

"Big Bang Theory" star Johnny Galecki finally admitted to having a relationship with co-star Kaley Cuoco three years ago. The two dated for two years before finally separating; Cuoco previously spoke about the relationship but Galecki remained silent. Now she is engaged and Galecki is speaking out.

"We're dear friends, still," Galecki told CBS Watch! Magazine. "Kaley's not just an ex, she's a part of my life. I just don't like to speak about it and not because I'm trying to be enigmatic; I just worry that it will conflict with people's acceptance of Leonard and Penny. I get the curiosity, but I don't want to distract from the story."

Cuoco recently announced her engagement to Ryan Sweeting, and the two even had a mock wedding on the "Ellen" show. She maintains that it was the secrecy of the relationship that eventually led to its demise.

"We were so protective of ourselves and the show, and we didn't want anything to ruin that," Cuoco said in 2010. "We dated for almost two years. It was such a huge part of my life and no one knew about it. This is the first time I've ever talked about it, ever. It was a wonderful relationship, but we never spoke a word about it and never went anywhere together."

The two have managed to maintain not only a working relationship but a friendly one as well.

"We knew we weren't destined to be together," Cuoco said. "We accepted it and said, 'Look, if we ever break up, we will be professional.' I'm so lucky it was a mutual ending and that we don't hate each other. We've seen that happen on other shows."

The "Big Bang Theory" is currently one of the most popular shows on TV and has been since its debut in 2007.
