Hear 'The Voice' Winner Jordan Smith Sing the National Anthem

The man cannot be stopped. "The Voice" winner Jordan Smith kicked off the New Year by singing the national anthem at the 2016 Winter Classic.

Surrounded by players belonging to the Boston Bruins and Montreal Canadiens at Gillette Stadium, Smith gave an awesome performance of the "Star Spangled Banner."

With players unfurling a large American flag and a plane flying over, the passionate crowd roared their approval at the singer's talents.

If only such a patriotic performance could have influenced the game, as the Bruins lost badly to the Canadiens, scoring only 1 point to Montreal's 5.

Uploaded to YouTube by the official NHL account, the video has over 780,000 views and 8,700 likes. It also got about 750 dislikes, presumably from people who hate America. Or hockey. Or both.
