Justin Bieber appeared on Saturday Night Live last night, and he did not shy away from poking fun at himself while addressing his alleged use of marijuana.

Bieber, 18-year-old Canadian crooner, appeared in a number of skits as a guest on the sketch comedy show. While all of the skits were written in the name of comedy, the singer addressed some of his real life situations such as making recent headlines for reportedly smoking marijuana.

Still, he used the opportunity to inadvertently apologize for being photographed with marijuana at a California hotel on Jan 2.

"Miley you're seriously my favorite singer of all time. You're light years better than that douche Justin Bieber," Bieber said while speaking to a fictional Cyrus played by comedian Vanessa Bayer. "I heard he still has his baby teeth. I also heard he got busted for smoking weed and he's really sorry about it and that people make mistakes and he's never gonna do it again."

Bieber also took part in other skits where he mimicked an innocent young man in love during the 1950s and poke fun at himself looking for a body double. As the host of the famed sketch comedy show, Bieber opened up by flirting with Whoopi Goldberg while giving people false black history month facts such as, "Did you know that Denzel Washington invented the peanut?"

A number of people took to Twitter to react to the singer's performance after witnessing him host "Saturday Night Live."

"This is actually the funniest thing ever," one person wrote after watching him pretend to be the president of Cyrus' fan club.

However, others were more critical of the singer.

"#BieberonSNL not so great..not that anyone expected it to be," the person tweeted.

Still, Bieber premised his appearance by letting people know how excited he was, tweeting, "Hello world! TODAY is the DAY! Im on #SNL TONIGHT! Make sure to watch. gonna be funny. #BIEBERonSNL."
