Kailyn Lowry Pregnant Again? News Comes After Controversial 'Teen Mom 2'

Is "Teen Mom 2" star expecting another baby? Kailyn Lowry's sister-in-law recently said that Lowry and her husband, Javi Marroquin are happily expecting the birth of their first child together, though Lowry has not confirmed anything through Twitter or Facebook. The news comes the morning after a controversial scene aired on "Teen Mom 2."

"They're overjoyed! When Kailyn told Javi, he cried," Lidia Marroquin told "In Touch Weekly."

One friend said that the couple was surprised but not "preventing" pregnancy.

"They're nervous about the transition to two children, but are so excited. She's not a little girl anymore – she really feels like her life is just beginning," the friend added.

Lowry already has a 3-year-old son with ex-boyfriend Jo Rivera; they dated on-and-off throughout the pregnancy and after Isaac was born. She then began dating Marroquin and, after a short engagement, married him in September.

The couple was prominently featured on last night's episode of "Teen Mom 2," which was filmed one year ago. The episode was deemed controversial because it showed an argument between Lowry and Marroquin that quickly escalated and turned physical. Lowry hit Marroquin but sought treatment once she realized what she had done.

Lowry apologized for the incident long before the episode even aired; she wanted to be open and honest with her fans. Lowry was diagnosed with bipolar disorder and has said that she has received the treatment she needed and is in a much better place now.

"I just want to publicly apologize in advance to my fans, and even though Javi and I have moved on from it, I want to say I'm sorry again to him and his family for letting my emotions get the best of me. I know how humiliating that is for them, and I'm humiliated myself," she posted on Facebook.

Lowry is the second "Teen Mom" to experience domestic violence, and is also the second to be diagnosed with bipolar disorder.

"A huge weight has been lifted from my shoulders now that 'the' scene has finally aired and is over with. Surprised at how much support I'm getting. I am sorry for what I did and I think Javi knows that. We're MARRIED NOW," Lowry tweeted during last night's episode.
