Kendall Jenner could potentially replace Miranda Kerr as a Victoria's Secret Angel following reports that the Australian model has been fired.

Jenner, who is the 17-year-old younger sister of reality TV star Kim Kardashian, recently expressed her interest in becoming a Victoria Secret model. Jenner currently works as a fashion runway model and reality TV star.

"It's always been kind of a dream of mine. It's something I'd love to do," Jenner told E! with regards to possibly working for the well known company.

The news comes just one day after it was claimed that 29-year-old Kerr had been fired by the lingerie retail giant due to her alleged "difficult" reputation. The married mother of one had a 3-year contract worth an estimated $1 million, but it will reportedly not be renewed.

Us magazine quoted an unnamed source as saying Kerr has "a difficult reputation" and that she "was not a big seller" for Victoria's Secret, unlike fellow models Candice Swanepoel and Alessandra Ambrosio.

"They can still use her for catalogue, where she will get a day rate, but she doesn't have to be an Angel to do that," the source said.

Another source accused Kerr of being late, demanding during shoots and unfriendly with other models.

"She can be difficult at shoots and appearances. She's not very timely. She's standoffish with the rest of the girls," a source told People magazine.

Kerr was reportedly asked to devote three months a year to promoting Victoria's Secret, but the supermodel, who signed on with the company in 2007, reportedly refused to do so.

"The problem was the time commitment. Victoria's Secret usually asks the girls who are Angels to commit three months in a particular year to the brand but Miranda has become a big star — she recently signed a deal with airline Qantas and has just replaced Kate Moss as the face of Spanish fashion line Mango," a source told The New York Post.

"While she loves Victoria's Secret, the time commitment they needed from her as an Angel became too much for her to fulfill. Exactly the same thing happened with Gisele Bundchen and Heidi Klum — their careers became huge, and there were other opportunities which made being an Angel full-time impossible," the insider continued.

Kerr, who is married to English actor Orlando Bloom, is still expected to walk in the annual VS show along with the other models.

"Anyone who says otherwise about Miranda, it's just sour grapes. She is still going to walk in the show this year, and is still committed to the brand, but their relationship is evolving," the source said.
