Kim Kardashian Divorce: Star to Sue Over Fake Wedding Allegations

Kim Kardashian is taking action against the man who accused the reality star and her team of fabricating her entire wedding and the surrounding affairs as a publicity stunt to improve show ratings.

TMZ is reporting Kim hired Marty Singer, a well-known Hollywood lawyer, to quiet Jonathan Jaxson, a former publicist for the celebrity.

Jaxson claims he worked for Kim, reported TMZ, and while a source close to the reality star said this is true, they said it was a long time ago and for work on a blog.

Jaxson is in the midst of a media campaign in promotion of his new book and has repeatedly made claims that the wedding was staged.

TMZ said Kim barely remembers who Jaxson is and is puzzled by whatever inside information he has on her because they haven't spoken in years.

Kardashian had the man sign off on a confidentiality agreement when they worked together and now feels he is now violating those terms.

She is suing Jaxson for attempting to damage her reputation and is seeking a minimum of $200,000.

Kim's lawyer, Singer, told TMZ "Everything that he is saying is false and nonsense... This guy is in it to promote himself for his 15 mins of fame."

Jaxson responded to calls from TMZ, and released his own statement on the manner, "I have never signed an agreement dealing with confidentiality with Kim Kardashian. I have an agreement in my possession that does not have either parties signature on it."

This new development however does not remove the spotlight from the 72-day marriage of Kim and Kris Humphries.

The divorce will legally be completed in six months as required by the law.

New rumors regarding Kardashian surfaced last week claiming the singer is on the verge of an emotional breakdown because of all the stress the divorce is causing.

Star magazine recently reported that Kardashian is losing weight, cannot sleep, and is experiencing a bundle of emotions.

The reality star said one of the reasons she married Kris was to start a family.

“I want a family, babies and a real life so badly that maybe I rushed into something too soon," said Kardashian to the Sun.
