Kim Kardashian Wedding News: Kanye West Fears Oprah Will Steal Show? 'He's Just Nervous'

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West have reportedly invited some of Hollywood's biggest names to their upcoming wedding, however, the rapper is said to be concerned that one potential guest could ultimately steal the show.

Oprah Winfrey is said to be invited to what some critics are tipping to be the "wedding of the year" and West, 36, reportedly fears that the media queen's attendance could ultimately distract from his big day. The "New Slaves" rapper proposed to Kardashian, 33, last year and they will reportedly wed in a lavish wedding in Paris on May 24.

"He really thinks Oprah's going to steal the show and the guests will all be talking about her and what she's wearing and trying to get their picture taken with her as opposed to being there, witnessing his marriage to Kim and celebrating them as a couple," a source close to the engaged couple told HollywoodLife.com.

"It's that weird, crazy celebrity b.s. that these people have and Kanye's guilty as charged," the source continued. "He's just nervous and wants all eyes on him and Kim and doesn't want to be outdone by anyone."

Also rumored to be among the wedding guest list is Lala and Carmelo Anthony, Anna Wintour, Beyonce and Jay Z, Will and Jada Smith, Black Chyna, Brittny Gastineau, Lorraine Schwartz, Riccardo Tisci, Ryan Seacrest, Nicole Richie and Kathie Lee Gifford among others, according to VH1's "The Gossip Table."

Insiders claim an E! camera crew will be present to capture every moment of the wedding, much like during Kardashian's 2011 wedding to NBA star Kris Humphries. The wedding will mark the reality star's third marriage and West's first.

"They have filmed some things already to be on the upcoming special and will film stuff afterwards as well. But the Kim and Kanye special will be a stand-alone show on E!" another source revealed.

"E! plans on airing Kim and Kanye's wedding as a two-part special," another source revealed. "The event is way too important to only broadcast on Keeping Up with the Kardashians."

Kardashian recently opened up about her big day insisting that contrary to media reports, the event will not be over-the-top.

"We're having a super, super small, intimate wedding. As we go along, we're realizing we want it to be smaller and more intimate than people are imagining and thinking," Kardashian told Seacrest on his KIIS FM radio show on Feb. 25.
