'Kingdom Hearts 3' Rumors: Will New Trailer Be Shown At D23 Expo 2018 in Japan?

Fans still waiting to hear about when 'Kingdom Hearts 3' will be released

To the frustration of many die-hard fans all over the world, "Kingdom Hearts 3" is still a mystery in so many ways, with even things such as trailers proving hard to come by at this point in time.

It's been a while since fans got a good, long look at this sequel by way of a trailer, and understandably, they would like to have that opportunity once again, this time doing so while actually seeing something new.

Unfortunately, developers have yet to clearly indicate when they will showcase the game again through a trailer, but the announcement of an upcoming event could offer a solid clue related to when this could happen.

The D23 Expo Japan will start on Feb. 10 next year, according to a recent report from Kingdom Hearts Insider, and this is one event that "Kingdom Hearts" fans may want to pay close attention to.

As the website then goes on to point out, previous editions of this event have yielded valuable content related to "Kingdom Hearts 3."

Back in 2013, developers came to the event and gave fans a look at a new trailer. Then in 2015, more clips showcasing the sequel were shared.

That could mean that next year's D23 Expo will again feature something related to the sequel, but it is unclear if that is actually a bit of news that fans will welcome.

Again, fans have been waiting for this game for a long time and the idea that they may once again have to go through another year without seeing more of it may not sit that well with them.

The good news for them is that 2017 is still filled with upcoming events that could provide a big enough platform for the next sequel-related revelation, even if it is a trailer, so it is not out of the question that a new trailer could be shown at E3 or even during the Tokyo Game Show.

More news about "Kingdom Hearts 3" should be made available in the near future.
