'King's Quest: A Knight To Remember' News: Episode Two Ready By Dec 15
Adventure gamers who loved the old-school adventure gameplay in games such as "King's Quest" were happy that the game was in fact rebooted. The episodic game was released on July 28, 2015 with the first episode titled "A Knight to Remember." There are four more episodes coming to the game and publisher Sierra Entertainment recently announced that Episode Two will be ready by December 15, according to an IGN report.
The announcement was accompanied by a short teaser trailer, which featured a group of goblins taking away some loot as well as the King himself. King Graham is heard telling the goblins, "Release me, at once!" A description of the upcoming episode titled "Rubble Without a Cause" also indicates that Graham is no longer a knight in this episode, but is already a king. The episode synopsis reads: "When a mischievous horde of goblins takes his kingdom hostage, a newly crowned & woefully unprepared Graham must rise up to free his people & prove himself the leader he was destined to become."
If players will recall episode one, Graham is trying to prove himself worthy of becoming a knight. The story in the first episode pictures him as a pleasant young man but an "overly excitable" one, who is up against four other contenders for the position of knight. Episode two therefore will be set way after the events in episode one, because Graham is said to be "newly crowned" as king.
An IGN review of the game's episode one calls it a game with "personality" that is consistently shown from start to finish. According to the review, it is the game's tale that is appealing to adventure gamers as it offers funny moments as well as challenging puzzles that even veteran adventure gamers will like. The game is also known for letting players discover their way through the game, offering no hints or guides and this is expected to continue in the next episodes.
The game is available for Windows PC, PS4 and PS3, and Xbox One and Xbox 360.
