Lady Gaga Fox Head Scarf Slammed by PETA (PHOTO)

Lady Gaga has somehow managed to shock the public again with another bizarre outfit and organization People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals has lashed out at the pop star.

The singer was photographed in Cologne, Germany on Wednesday where she wore a scarf that appeared to be made of real animal fur as it had an Arctic white fox head attached to it. A PETA spokesperson blasted Lady Gaga as being cruel and heartless.

"The outfit really speaks for itself. PETA is considering passing the hat so that someone can buy her a heart," PETA spokesperson Wendy Wegner told RadarOnline.com.

The "Judas" singer is renowned for her outlandish and extreme outfits which have previously included a meat dress worn at the 2010 MTV VMAs along with shoes made of meat, and various fur coats and hats made of rabbit fur among other animal furs.

Dan Mathews, PETA's Senior VP, recently reminded the singer about her own statements against wearing fur and blasted her as "dumb" for evidently going against her own words.

"Many of your gay fans, I among them, have long admired what you told Ellen: 'I hate fur, and I don't wear fur.' I included a link because these recent photos of you in fox and rabbit and with a wolf carcass make it appear that you have amnesia," Matthews said in statement to Lady Gaga.

"By wearing those dumb furs in a heat wave, you're making yourself a target just like the mindless Kim Kardashian," he went on.

Lady Gaga appeared to be unfazed by critics in her Twitter response as she attempted to shift the focus off of her alleged animal cruelty and on to designer recognition.

"For those press and such who are writing about whether or not my fur is actually real. Please don't forget to credit the designer HERMES. Thank You! LOVE, gaga," she recently tweeted.
