Lea Michele Baby Bump Fuels Rumors of 'Glee' Star's Pregnancy

Actress Lea Michele has been sporting a new accessory lately that has many wondering if the young actress could be pregnant. Photos of Michele with what appears to be a growing baby bump have surfaced, fueling speculation that another "Glee" star is on its way.

The actress, who normally dresses as if every day is a major event, downplayed her looks for a trip to the nail salon, and used a bag to cover a possible baby bump. Of course, these rumors are pure speculation, and Michele has not even hinted that she may be expecting with her boyfriend, Cory Monteith.

The couple, who met on the set of "Glee," have been together for some time and are both seriously committed to the show that helped launch their careers. Michele is also planning to release her first solo album in the future, which means that a baby would not be ideal at this time.

Several sites have shot down the rumors of a "Glee" baby and instead insist that Michele was simply bloated and having a casual day. According to The Examiner's Effie Orfanides, "she also isn't married, and while that's not always a necessity for some celebs, Lea seems like she wants to do things in the correct order."

Michele was raised in a Catholic household, even though her father is a Spanish Sephardic Jew. She got her big start in 1995 as an understudy in the Broadway production of "Les Miserables." From then on, she performed in "Ragtime," "Fiddler on the Roof," and "Spring Awakening."

When "Glee" came calling, Michele took her role as Rachel Berry and ran with it, performing incredible arias and, at times, stealing the show. She was nominated for an Emmy Award for her portrayal of the wannabe Broadway star who also wants to be accepted.

Neither Michele nor Monteith has commented on the likelihood of marriage, let alone having a child. For this time, it appears a bad photo is to blame for the rumors.
