Lindsay Lohan Blames Unpaid $46,000 Bill on Movie Producers

Lindsay Lohan has finally explained why she left a $46,000 bill unpaid after her 2-month stay at the Chateau Marmont. She simply thought the producers of her latest film "Liz & Dick" would cover the bill, which they have flatly denied.

Lohan moved into the hotel during the filming of her upcoming film and, according to TMZ, was given $5,000 to do so. That money was taken from her $100,000 advance, and the star was allegedly told that was all she would be receiving toward the hotel bill.

It's not the first time that Lohan has blamed her problems on someone else. When she was caught with cocaine in her pocket, she told police she was simply wearing someone else's pants. Lohan also told police that she didn't actually steal a $2,500 necklace, but that the jewelry store loaned it to her.

Now, Lohan has been named a "person of interest" in the disappearance of $100,000 worth of jewelry. She blamed another person and told police that she had been framed. The star avoided arrest due to a lack of evidence.

"Lindsay is glad this matter has been cleared up so she can focus on her upcoming projects. It is unfortunate that many media outlets were quick to point fingers and jump to conclusions without having all the facts," her representative told GossipCop.

She is still wanted for questioning by Santa Monica police. They want to speak with Lohan about her involvement in a car accident that happened in June. Police apparently feel that Lohan lied to them about her involvement and wish to set the record straight.

Lohan was just released from probation in March, but informal probation will not expire until May 2014. If she should be found guilty of another crime before then, she could face an automatic sentence of up to 245 days in jail.

She has reportedly said that if the production team behind "Liz & Dick" refuses to pay the hotel bill, she will handle it.
