Linkin Park Shares Bittersweet 'Carpool Karaoke' Video With Late Frontman Chester Bennington

Months following Linkin Park frontman Chester Bennington's death, a video he filmed for "Carpool Karaoke" with his bandmates has finally surfaced.

Linkin Park had recently posted what was supposed to be an episode of "Carpool Karaoke" filmed six days before Chester Bennington's death on their Facebook page. The video also features actor-comedian Ken Jeong. "With the blessing of Chester's family and his bandmates, we share this episode, and dedicate it to the memory of Chester," the video says at the beginning.

The video is rather a bittersweet one seeing as Bennington, who took his own life back in July, looked happy all throughout the episode. The episode was filmed on July 14, six days before Bennington committed suicide by hanging on July 20. The singer has reportedly been suffering from a severe case of depression brought upon by a troubled childhood and furthered by the death of friend and Soundgarden frontman Chris Cornell (who also died by suicide). Bennington is survived by his second wife Talinda and his six children.

The video was filled with all sorts of hilarity stemming from Ken Jeong's hilarious antics. At one point in the episode, he even asked if the band would consider changing their name to Linken Park so that he could join them. Bennington was even caught saying "this is probably the greatest day of my life" after "The Hangover" star tried his own version of "cringing" (screaming and singing) which Bennington was popularly known for.

Bennington's wife, Talinda, would then share the video on Twitter along with the hashtag "#MakeChesterProud: and "#F---Depression." Not only that, she had also encouraged everyone to donate to the One More Light Fund which was established in honor of the late Linkin Park singer.

Linkin Park will be holding a tribute concert this coming Oct. 27 to celebrate and honor the life of Chester Bennington which would also feature several musical acts such as Blink 182.
