In India, a massive earthquake strikes the country. Elizabeth searches frantically for Allison, who went off with an attractive Indian boy named Sanjay. Later they are reunited and Elizabeth is relieved that her daughter is safe.

Meanwhile, Daisy and Matt are out for drinks and she tells him that as of tomorrow they are done. It turns out that Stevie was at the same bar and drinking. Because it would never do for the press to know that Elizabeth's underage daughter was seen drinking, the two decide to do some damage control. Stevie tells Daisy, "My dad. He's a cheating cheater who cheats."

When Elizabeth gets home, she confronts Henry. He says that he's not having an affair, but he admits that he was keeping something from her. It turns out that he was working with the NSA again.

"This mission is so top secret that even the Secretary of State can't know," he tells her.

Next Sunday's episode of "Madam Secretary" titled "Need to Know" has this premise:

"Henry is reactivated by the President into the NSA, but he chooses to keep his continued involvement in the spy game well under wraps from Elizabeth. Meanwhile, the antagonism between Matt and Daisy takes its toll on the entire office," the synopsis reads.
