'Major Crimes' Season 4: Tony Denison Hints at 'Romantic Something' Between Andy and Sharon

Cast member Tony Denison recently previewed what looks to be, a possible romantic link between his Andy Flynn and its captain Sharon Raydor (Mary McDonnell).

Although, not explicitly implied, Denison shared his thoughts about the news of the hook-up.

"I liked it, for a lot of reasons. First of all, I love working with Mary McDonnell — I've been a fan of hers since forever — so the chance to work with her on the show alone is fantastic. And because of that, sometimes Andy's glee is based on the fact that Tony gets to work with Mary!" he told TV Line. "Now that they're developing a relationship, kind of like, 'Oh, and I get that too?' It's wonderful. The short answer is: It's wonderful."

When probed further, Denison reiterated that he still doesn't have any idea as to when will the show drop more hints on the Andy-Sharon storyline.

"It's funny — people ask me that a lot, and I do not know. And the reason why I do not know is because I do not ask. And the reason why I do not ask is because I like to be surprised. So when the episode comes down the pike and there's something in there, I go, 'Oh wow, that's cool,' because I don't know it's coming. As an actor, I like to work that way. I like to be surprised, just like the audience," he added.

Meanwhile, the synopsis for this week's segment tiled "Turn Down" was posted on The Futon Critic where it reads:

"During his first drive-along as a Reserve Officer, Buzz Watson (Phillip P. Keene) discovers a dead body in a hotel room bathtub, not only threatening an extremely expensive wedding, but also Flynn (Denison) and Provenza's (G.W. Bailey) plans to take the division to a Fourth of July Dodger's game."

"Major Crimes" Season 4 airs Mondays, at 9 p.m. on TNT.
