Make Up Your Own Holiday Day Celebrated Today

Monday has arrived allowing people everywhere to make today special for anything you want with Make Up Your Own Holiday Day.

The annual event takes place on March 26 and is believed to have been created by the Wellness Permission League, although very little information is available.

Make Up Your Own Holiday Day is much like the events for Mothers, Fathers', Chocolate, and Pi Day, but individuals may choose to recognize any topic or event they want.

Wellcat, a founder of many odd holidays, hosts many suggestions on their website for people celebrating Make Up Your Own Holiday Day.

"This is a day you many name for whatever you wish. Reach for the stars," advised Wellcat.

One way to officiate the event is to name the holiday and create a blog or website in the name of the holiday. Also, celebrate the event as it were any holiday by making special food, decorating, and playing games with friends and family.
