As much as it is a feather on their caps, the Raptors are certainly looking forward to a strong finish in the regular season and make a deep run in the playoffs.
They were disappointing last year and are looking to forget about it and push forward as they have exceeded expectations so far.
Led by Kyle Lowry and DeMar DeRozan, the duo are considered two of the best back court tandems in the league and have lifted Toronto to new heights and are a real contender in the Eastern Conference.
And they are hoping that they can add to the win column as they face a struggling Western Conference squad in the Grizzlies.
For Memphis, they are currently fifth in the league and are almost assured a spot in the playoffs later on in the campaign.
However, they are sliding in terms of performance and it has allowed the Portland Trail Blazers to close the gap on them and they are only 2.0 games behind the Grizzlies for the fifth spot in the league.
Memphis have had their struggles with injuries that has resulted in them losing more games than most thought, but they are still a relatively solid squad that can get wins when needed.
