Miami Heat vs San Antonio Spurs Live Stream Free: Watch Online NBA Finals 2014 Game 1

The Miami Heat will play the San Antonio Spurs in Game 1 of the NBA Finals 2014 series on Thursday night. Most fans will be hoping this match up will be as dramatic as it was last year, and with the quality of the two teams so far this postseason, it promises to be a great series. Today's Game 1 takes place at the AT&T Center in San Antonio, Texas with a start time of 9 p.m. ET. The game can be watched on TV on the ABC network or online through free live stream (details below).

The Heat are going for a third straight NBA title, and if they can achieve their goal they will be the first franchise to accomplish three in a row since the Los Angeles Lakers won the Championship in 2000, 2001 and 2002.

However, things will not be easy, and even though the Spurs have struggled at times towards the end of the regular season and in portions of the postseason, they have the winning habit, and they will believe they can get revenge against the Heat this year.

In the regular season the Spurs and Heat split their two games, with each winning their games at their home court.

The Spurs gained a good win in Texas, but the Heat's win in Miami actually took place when three key players, Kawhi Leonard, Tiago Splitter and Danny Green, were missing for the Spurs.

On January 26, the Heat won 113-101, with Chris Bosh scoring 24 points on 9-of-10 shooting from the floor. He also added five rebounds and three assists in just 26 minutes. The game was won in the third quarter when the Heat outscored the Spurs by 33-21. That allowed them to go into the fourth quarter with a 20 point lead, which proved too much for the Spurs to erase.

On March 6, the Spurs destroyed the Heat 111-87, after going 15 points clear in the first quarter. San Antonio never fell behind in the entire game, and in the end it was a very easy win. Duncan led San Antonio with 23 points and 11 rebounds.

The Spurs will be hoping to get off to a lightning start again today and assert themselves on this series.
