Furthermore, the First Lady donned a necklace designed by Cathy Waterman.

Inspired by the style of a man's silk tie, Obama's Inauguration Day coat made waves on social media sites on Monday.

"Michelle Obama looks stunning," Daysha wrote. "Love the shoes with that dress. Stunning."

"Just saw your dress for today @MichelleObama," wrote Twitter user Z. "You look amazing. I also really love your bangs. #flotus."

The custom-made boat by Browne is just the latest headlines Obama has made over her style choices; the First Lady recently debuted a new haircut including bangs.

Meanwhile, Obama's daughter Malia also donned J. Crew on Inauguration Day, while her sister Sasha opted for a Kate Spade coat and dress.

The First Lady will take her seat at 11:14 a.m. EST with Vice President Joe Biden following suit at 11:18 a.m. Then, at 11:20, President Barack Obama takes his seat.
