'Modern Family' Season 6 Spoilers, Recap News: Episode 13 'Rash Decisions' - Jay Faces Tough Decision

Last Wednesday on "Modern Family," Joe's doctor and Gloria suspect that Joe might be allergic to Jay's dog, Stella, and Jay is faced with a very tough decision, and Haley and Alex bicker as Alex tries to get into Princeton.

On "Rash Decisions", Jay and Gloria's baby, Joe, starts sneezing and sniffling, and Joe's doctor and Gloria think that the Joe might be allergic to Stella, Jay's dog. Everyone in the family knows how attached Jay is to his pet, and also how much Gloria resents the dog. With a heavy heart, Jay leaves Stella with Cam and Mitch all day, and leaves a lot of instructions on how to care for the dog, which includes "no chicken bones", "lots of belly rubs" and that Stella should be walked three times a day.

Mitch is baffled at how concerned Jay is about the dog and reminds him about the time when Jay brought him to camp and that he "barely stopped the car" before dropping him off. Jay gets very emotional when he sees Cam and Stella bonding. Lily doesn't like the dog so much since she thinks that Stella is bothering her cat, Larry.

Later, the doctors find out that Joe isn't allergic to Stella—he's allergic to his mother's face cream. Gloria is upset since her face cream is ridiculously expensive. Manny still thinks that maybe Stella is to blame for giving him the sniffles, but Jay has already left to get the dog back.

Meanwhile, Haley drives Alex to her admissions interview at Princeton, and Alex is nervous about her chances of getting in. They start to bicker, and Haley insults Alex's outfit. Alex thought that she was prepared, however, she hears the admissions officer talking about how all of the candidates are lacking in personality. Inspired, Alex spins one of Haley's stories and claims it as her own.

"Modern Family" airs on Wednesdays at 9 p.m. on ABC.
