Montreal Int'l Gospel Festival Postponed

The first annual Montreal International Gospel Festival (MIGF), which was scheduled to be held at Theatre St-Denis on early September 2005, has been postponed to 2006. Organizers say the delay is “due to constraints which would have impacted on the best presentation of the Festival."

“We assure you that MIGF will be commensurate with this city, our sponsors and participants," a press release by Pinnacle Gospel and Cezar Brumeanu Productions and Ma’s Place Promotion read.

The MIGF Organizing Committee will announce the new dates as soon as possible. Tickets already purchased can be refunded at the point of purchase.

Artists that were previously scheduled to perform at the festival were Christian urban artists The Cross Movement and Out of Eden, North America’s “top choir,” Tye Tribbett & Greater Anointing, Grammy Award winners CeCe Winans and “Living Legend,” Shirley Caesar, and several of, “the finest gospel artists that Quebec has to offer.”
