'Mr. Robot' Season 1 News, Spoilers: Gideon Casts Doubts on Elliot, Tyrell Chose to Play Dirty

Things are about to get even more interesting as the first season of USA Network's hit science-fiction TV drama series "Mr. Robot" moves on this week with a brand new episode.

A promo video for the segment titled "eps.1.2_d3bug.mkv," was posted over at TV Line where it featured Evil Corp's SVP of Technology, Tyrell Wellick (Martin Wallstrom) rehearsing a speech that he is about to give in front of the board.

The gist of his statement is simple: to let the board elect him as the logical replacement for the vacated seat of former CTO who, in the drama's premiere episode, was framed and arrested for the deadly DDoS attack on E Corp.

"We have to be swift in naming the next CTO, and sir, I would like to suggest that it would be me … for the sake of our company that we make our decision today."

"You will be the next CTO of this company," he then told himself in front of the mirror.

Elsewhere, Elliot (Rami Malek) tries to lead a normal life. However, the people from fsociety seem not ready to let go of him.

In another trailer for the episode, Elliot was shocked to find Mr. Robot (Christian Slater) at Allsafe Security.

"Leave now," Elliot threatened the hacker group leader.

"I'm not going anywhere until you do," Mr. Robot answered.

On the other front, Elliot will also have to deal with Gideon's (Michel Gill) suspicions.

"You want to tell me what's going on?" inquired the AllSafe CEO.

"Not really," Elliot remained adamant.

Catch more of the action when "Mr. Robot" Season 1 returns this Wednesday, July 8, at 10 p.m. on USA Network.
