'Naruto to Boruto: Shinobi Striker' Beta Test Set for December
PlayStation 4 (PS4) players in Japan can take "Naruto to Boruto: Shinobi Striker" for a spin in the closed beta test set to take place this December.
Only 5,000 players will be able to take part in the closed beta test. Apart from being able to play the game early, their feedback will be valuable to Bandai Namco Entertainment as it will help the developer polish the game in time for its release.
For the closed beta, participants will be given access to a number of elements in "Naruto to Boruto: Shinobi Striker." For a start, they will be able to create their own character although only parts of the character creation menu will be included.
The playable characters in the beta will include Naruto, Sasuke, Sakura and Kakashi. The same heroes can be tapped as mentors or masters who will teach jutsu to the created character.
The "Naruto to Boruto: Shinobi Striker" closed beta will also allow players to be part in the online Hidden Leaf Village lobby, in which they can participate in various modes of the game, communicate with others with emotes and preset messages and assemble their team for battle.
In the closed beta, players can also head over to the Virtual Reality (VR) Ninja Arena for a tutorial mission in which players can familiarize themselves with the controls of the game.
Of course, the "Naruto to Boruto: Shinobi Striker" closed beta will allow players to experience the eight-player battles at the Hokage Residence. There is a "Quick Match" mode featuring two teams of four that will try to capture the flag first.
Teams will usually be random but since players are allowed to the Hidden Leaf Village lobby, they can put together their team there.
Players can register in the "Naruto to Boruto: Shinobi Striker" closed beta until Nov. 23 via the Japanese PlayStation Store.
