Natalie Grant Slated As Speaker On The Revolve Tour

Continuing her partnership with Women of Faith, Curb recording artist Natalie Grant has been tapped to help launch "The Revolve Tour," the organization's first nationwide conference designed especially for girls in the 7th-12th grades. Kicking-off in September in Orlando, Florida, the tour, which is presented by Girls of Faith, a ministry division of Women of Faith, is slated to stop in Minneapolis; Portland, Oregon; Charlotte, North Carolina; and Hartford, Connecticut, and will feature alongside Grant, artists ZOEgirl and Tammy Trent, as well as Olympic divers Kimiko Soldati and Laura Wilkinson as speakers. Conference topics include growing your faith, sexual purity, and friendship and family issues, among other themes.

In addition to performing at the conferences, Grant will step into the spotlight as a speaker, delivering a message on self-esteem.

"I am so excited about The Revolve Tour," said Grant. "I am thankful for my relationship with Women of Faith, and I feel there is no better organization to start a conference like this. In addition to sharing my music, I am especially honored to be a speaker on this tour."

"Addressing the all-important issue of self-esteem, I will talk about my own struggle with an eating disorder and the real and growing problem that teen girls face today with the increased social pressure to be what the world deems beautiful," Grant continues. "I hear about this issue from more women and girls than any other topic. The national statistics are severely troubling: one in 100 women turn to bulimia as a way to lose weight. I am so grateful for the opportunity to tell thousands of girls the Truth that Jesus Christ created each life with a purpose and a destiny. It is my prayer that these girls will leave the conferences better equipped to live the Christian life, with a greater understanding of who they are in Christ."

"This conference is going to be great because it will center on a grace-filled message that is grounded in the reality of a teen’s life," said Christie Barnes, executive director, "The Revolve Tour." "Natalie Grant is a perfect fit for the conference and we expect teens to love her."

A two-time Dove Award-nominee for Female Vocalist of the Year, Grant's most recent recording is the critically-acclaimed Worship with Natalie Grant and Friends, an Integrity Music release. She is currently at work on her second studio recording for Curb, which is slated to release in March.
