'NCIS: Los Angeles' Season 6 Spoilers, Cast News: 'The Talk' Host Julie Chen Guest Stars 'In Line of Duty'

CBS' hit police procedural drama series "NCIS: Los Angeles" continues to offer thrill and suspense to its avid fans with new episodes on its sixth season.

Spoiler reports suggest that this Monday's showing will see yet another big guest star appearance in the person of "The Talk" host Julie Chen.

Chen is playing the character of a U.S. ambassador for Tunisia in the scripted program. A video, posted on Carter Matt, offers deep insights on Chen's involvement in the show.

"I was told it's going to be a little fun project for all the ladies of 'The Talk,'" the 45-year-old TV personality revealed. "Who would say no to that?"

Several of the daytime show's hosts indeed had appeared on numerous TV series including Aisha Tyler who starred in "Two and a Half Men" and Sharon Osbourne on "CSI."

"I think I am the subject on an assassination attempt," she went on to dish out tonight's plot details. "It's all very dramatic … I feel very important!"

"I think she kind of perfect casting for this. I mean, it's an ambassador who is elegant," Daniela Ruah, who plays Special Agent Kensi Blye, went on to add.

"It has the shoot out of all the shoot-outs," LL Cool J, Agent Sam Hanna on the show, also shed light on what's going to happen in the upcoming episode. "That is just unreal."

A full synopsis for "In Line of Duty" was posted on The Futon Critic and it reads:

"After U.S. Ambassador Nancy Kelly narrowly escapes a terrorist attack at the U.S. consulate in Tunisia, Callen and Sam are sent on a secret, dangerous mission to obtain key evidence from the crime scene. Upon their return, the team seeks Kelly's help to provide missing information."

"NCIS: Los Angeles" Season 6 Episode 13 airs Jan. 19 at 10 p.m. on CBS.
