Peter Wehner, senior fellow with the Ethics & Public Policy Center, cautioned that just because President Donald Trump was not found to be engaging in collusion or obstruction of justice does not mean “that Trump/his advisers didn't do things that were unwise/unethical.”

“We need to read the Mueller report to know more; and there are other investigations that need to play out,” tweeted Wehner on Sunday evening.

“What happened isn't as bad as it could have been; but what happened with Russia wasn't good, honorable or ethical. Let's hope we can read the report so we can make a better judgment on the specifics. But Trump hasn't acted ethically/with integrity,” he added.
