Obama Won't Let Daughters Watch Kardashian Show, Famed Sisters Fire Back

The Kardashian and Obama households have mutually strained relations due to both sides speaking negatively about one another to the press this week.

President Obama appeared on the Jay Leno show Tuesday and spoke about the Kardashian show. Reports surfaced recently that Michelle Obama revealed her children are not allowed to watch the reality television show.

The United States President told Leno that he never watches the Kardashian’s show. He also mentioned that he is not a fan of reality television.

"I am probably a little biased against reality TV, partly because there's this program on C-Span called Congress," President Obama told Leno. "No I have not seen the show, do you recommend it Jay?"

However, Obama said his 13 and 10-year-old daughters are familiar with the series.

“I think that the girls have seen it,” President Obama added.

The topic stems from statements made by Michelle concerning her husband’s approval of their daughters’ watching the show.

The First Lady gave an interview recently and admitted that she and her husband were not comfortable with daughters Sasha and Malia watching the reality television show. She was apparently unsure about the show’s message and how it affected them.

“I sort of feel like if we’re talking about it, and I’m more concerned with how they take it in,” Mrs. Obama told iVillage. “What did you learn when you watched that? And if they’re learning the right lessons, like, that was crazy, then I’m like, ‘OK.”

The Kardashian sisters, Kim, Khloe and Kourtney are reportedly confused with the First Family’s reaction to their programming and are firing back.

“Kim, Khloe and Kourtney are furiously dissing the First Lady,' a source from the Kardashian camp told the National Enquirer. “They charge Michelle is 'two-faced', that she really worships the kind of life they lead and 'takes every vacation she can.’”

The Kardashian sisters have not publicly commented on the issue.
