Octomom Stripping Debut: Nadya Suleman Selling Photos for $10: Indictment of Society or of Her?

Octomom Nadya Suleman has sparked controversy and debate after making her debut as a stripper in a Florida gentleman's club. Many have suggested that this shows her continuing on a downward moral spiral following her recent stints in the adult entertainment industry.

Suleman, who is in fact facing a pending lawsuit, is making further desperate attempts to get cash, and this time stripped for a crowd of hundreds at the Playhouse South gentlemen's club in Hallandale, Florida.

However, many have come out to suggest that Suleman's latest escapade into the adult entertainment industry is an indictment on today's society, and have criticized society for not finding a way to prevent a mother of 14 from having to go down this seedy route.

"Horrifying! Absolutely horrific to see her reduced to this. She has 14 kids. What will they think of her when they grow up? I dont even blame her, society is to blame," posted TomHunter12 on Facebook.

However, others sought to blame Suleman herself for choosing this road.

"I don't want to judge but octomom has gone too far this time. She doesn't have to choose this and should find other ways," posted TruthandHopeUT.

Suleman, who was dubbed "Octomom" by the media when she gave birth to octuplets despite already having 6 children, is currently also facing a lawsuit by a rival strip club owner. The owner of T's Lounge in West Palm Beach has claimed that Suleman signed a contract to perform for them exclusively.

In a further indictment on society it has been reported that twice as many people showed up to the club to see Suleman's strip performance. Ordinarily the club has said it would attract about 200 guests, but on the night Suleman performed as many as 400 showed up, according to the Herald.

It is believed that Suleman was paid $5,000 for two 12 minute performances. On top of that she was paid tips, and also was allowed to sell autographed photos for $10, or pose for personalized photos with people for $25.

The venue also sold T-Shirts with the catchphrase: "I saw Octomom naked at the Playhouse South."
