Big Mom Assassination Plot Underway; Can Brûlée Spoil Its Success in 'One Piece' Chapter 859, 860?

Sanji and Pudding's much-awaited wedding commences in two-and-a-half hours, and the Straw Hat-Firetank Pirates alliance is all set on their assassination plot. But their carelessness could potentially lead to their doom in the next chapter of "One Piece."

Everybody at the strategy conference is well aware that Big Mom is literally indestructible. Add to this equation her more than efficient and loyal ministers, who will all be present at the tea party, then any plot to assassinate the gargantuan Yonko can be equated to nothing more than a death wish. But Bege knows of a way to briefly weaken Big Mom just enough to launch one of Caesar's poisonous KX launchers on her and kill her while the Straw Hats rescue the Vinsmokes.

However, there are many ways that this seemingly foolproof plan can go wrong, and it doesn't even begin with the two allied groups' nonexistent camaraderie.

Fans have previously expressed their concern about the Straw Hats openly discussing their plans in front of Brûlée, who despite being all tied up still remains loyal to her mother. And now the Straw Hats and the Firetank Pirates have repeated this mistake again, even revealing to their unwilling captive that they will be using her and her Mirror World as their primary means of escape.

With Brûlée now thinking of a way to somehow let Big Mom know of the assassination plot against her, will Luffy, Bege and their allied crews be able to meet the certain conditions they need in order to for their plan to succeed? And since Big Mom very clearly has traitors in her ranks, there is also a possibility of a mole in Bege's group as well.

The weakness that Bege hopes to exploit has only been seen once before when somebody touched Big Mom's precious photo of her supposed lifesaver, Mother Caramel. The Yonko screamed and lost herself in a violent fit that eventually brought her to knees, where she scraped her skin on the ground and bled.

This weakness may have already been countered. But if it's not, the Straw Hats and the Firetank Pirates may really be able to pull their plans off, depending on how well they can coordinate their attacks with ear plugs stuck to their ears.

One epic battle is about to break out when a new chapter of "One Piece" comes out in the next issue of the "Weekly Shounen Jump" magazine.

Meanwhile, a fan convention dedicated to the Japanese manga and anime has just been held at the International Convention Center in Jerusalem on March 12. And to show his support, the Ambassador to Israel, Koji Tomita, graced the event dressed as Monkey D. Luffy, the main protagonist in Eiichiro Oda's "One Piece."

"I was so embarrassed wearing a suit last year. If you want to know more about Japan, please visit Japan," Tomita said.
