OnePlus Two to Launch in July
The OnePlus One flagship is just beginning to make headway in markets where it has been recently made available, such as India.
However, according to a report by GSM Arena, the successor of the original "flagship killer" is already under way, and it could be announced sooner rather than later.
In the report, a "reliable source" allegedly claimed that the OnePlus Two will make an appearance in an event in China next month.
However, aside from the rumored announcement date, the report also mentioned an even astonishing detail – that the OnePlus 2 could even be cheaper than the OnePlus One was when it became available last year.
In the report, the Android-powered device will allegedly be priced starting at CNY 1,999 or about $322 in China. While there is no word yet whether the device will be available overseas right away, it still means that the phone could cost around $400-450 at most.
Based on previous specs about the flagship killer successor, he OnePlus Two reportedly has either a 5.5 or 6-inch display, 3GB of RAM, a Snapdragon 810 chipset, and expectedly an option for either 16GB or 64GB of built-in memory.
Unfortunately, rumors point out that OnePlus would stick with Full HD (1920 x 1080) for the resolution of the phone's display.
The upcoming hero phone for the Chinese manufacturer will also don similar design and style cues as its predecessor, although we can expect a premium material used such as aluminum or some other back cover options.
