Oprah Talks About the 'Power of God' in New Series Comeback

Media mogul, Oprah, most loved for her talk show, will be gracing television once again, very soon.

She has announced that she will be starring in “Oprah’s Next Chapter” that will air on her OWN network. The show will feature her traveling and interviewing celebrities, newsmakers, families and other individuals.

Joel Osteen, at Lakewood Church, is among those to be interviews for the series.

“After 25 years, I got myself out of the studio chairs,” Winfrey said in a statement. “I moved into the next chapter, and I am having more fun than ever-moving around the country and the world talking to people I’m really interested in getting to know and I think viewers will be, too. It is so energizing to be out and about in the world exploring new people, new places and new ideas.”

“I sat at the dinner table with a Hasidic Jewish family and tried to explain to the children who have never seen a television what TV is…can you imagine? I fire-walked with Tony Robbins-never pictured myself doing that! I celebrated the power of God and community with Joel Osteen and I’m planning a trip with Deepak Chopra to India where I’ve never been,” Winfrey continued.

Among other celebrities to be interviewed is Steven Tyler. It has been reported that he will be discussing his past drug addiction, “American Idol,” and his love life.

“Food Network” star: Paula Deen, “Star Wars” creator and director, George Lucas at the Skywalker Ranch, and Sean Penn in Haiti are also on the list of interviewees.

“Oprah’s Next Chapter” will air on Jan. 1, 2012 on the OWN network.
