'Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection Act' Gets Support From Heroic Media With Stunning Images

The "Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection Act" was recently passed by the House of Representatives, which would call for the end of abortions after the fetus is 20 weeks old. Pro-life Heroic Media is working to change how women think about pregnancy and are further pushing the issue to the Senate.

"The passage of this Act is a significant victory for the pro-life movement and the protection of unborn life. But the safeguards included in this bill are still at stake, as the U.S. Senate has not yet taken up debate on this issue," the group said to Christian Newswire.

The bill was passed based on scientific medical evidence that shows and proves unborn babies can feel pain in the womb. The study shows just an eight week old fetus can react to touch while a 20 week old can react based on what would be pain.

"It is vital for individuals to understand that contrary to what some believe, a 20-week-old fetus is not a blob of tissue but a fully formed person with no voice, no vote and no rights. We must recognize this issue is not a war on women but a war on children, and will be working toward educating individuals about this through a nationwide media campaign," said Heroic Media in a release.

According to Heroic Media's mission statement:

"[Heroic Media] aims to change the hearts and minds of women about abortion, using research-based television commercials, Internet ads, billboards and other forms of pro-life media. In response to the debate surrounding the 'Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection Act' and the consideration it will soon undergo in the Senate, Heroic Media will place an ad featuring a 20 to 24 week old baby in major national and local newspapers in the coming days. The purpose of the ad is to educate people about what life looks like at 20 weeks and give a face to the discussion."

The group is encouraging all pro-life supporters to contact their Senators to vote for the bill and visit, www.heroicmedia.org/20weeks.
