Pastor Greg Locke apologizes for public fight with Supernatural Life Founder Daniel Adams

Almost three years after publicly cutting ties with Daniel Adams and his ministry, The Supernatural Life, Greg Locke, pastor of Global Vision Bible Church in Lebanon, Tennessee, has apologized for the way he raised concerns about Adams’ platforming of false prophets.
“A few years ago, The Supernatural Life founder Daniel Adams and I had a very public falling out over my strong concerns about associations with certain false prophets and related issues in those circles. I’ve publicly repented for my own early involvement in some of those streams and the way I handled things,” Locke wrote in a statement on Facebook Sunday.
Locke, whose 20-year-old son, Evans Roberts Locke, died last month from a drug overdose, says the loss has given him a different perspective on handling disagreements, and he just doesn’t have “room for division or strife anymore.”
“Since losing my son Evan, the Lord has been doing deep work in my heart. I simply don’t have room for division or strife anymore. Life is too short, eternity is too long, and the harvest is too urgent,” he said.
In a September 2023 sermon to his congregation, Locke declared he was no longer in partnership with the ministry or Adams because of his relationship with ministers whom he accused of being fornicators and warlocks.
“I am publicly breaking off any relationship that I have with Daniel Adams and the TSNL. I love all of them. I'm breaking it off. I'm breaking it off, and I gotta do it publicly,” Locke said while accusing Adams of having a “spirit of arrogance.”
“I don't care who your friends are, but when you double down on your support of witchcraft, when you double down on platforming a known fornicator because he's one of your spiritual mentors, I've got problems with you,” he explained.
“Until this spirit of arrogance breaks off of him, I'm not going down this train wreck road and derailing this church over [it],” he said.
“Don't you double down talk about all this accountability that you have in your life when the accountability you have in your life are the people full of witchcraft and fornication that I've already had to call out publicly because I allowed that nonsense to get mixed up in this church.”
Despite the acrimonious split, when Locke’s son died last month, Adams publicly offered his condolences to Locke in a statement on Facebook on May 9.
“Today I’m praying for the Lamb and Locke families. Loss is never easy, and moments like these remind us how fragile life really is,” Adams said. “No matter what differences, disagreements, or past situations may exist between people, we are still called by Christ to love, pray, forgive, and bless. So take a moment today and remember them in your prayers.”
In his statement Sunday, Locke said Adams’ show of support in his time of grief “meant a lot.”
“I’m especially grateful for the kind condolence post Daniel put out when Evan passed — it meant a lot and showed the heart of a brother,” Locke said.
“I’m sorry for my part in the breach between us. Although we may still disagree on some things, we agree on the main thing: Jesus and reaching people for the Kingdom,” he added. “I release any offense and extend grace and forgiveness. If the Lord leads, I’d welcome reconciliation as brothers in Christ.”
