Pilots Refuse to Fly Atheist 'God-LESS America' Banners

A massive 80 percent of pilots from an aircraft advertising company have refused to fly banners by an atheist group reading “God-LESS America” and “Atheism is Patriotic” on Fourth of July.

The group called American Atheists had planned to fly the banners in 27 locations across the country.

They had prepared the $23,000 campaign by hiring “Fly Signs Aerial Advertising” company to drag the banners over numerous locations on July 4th.

However, USA Today has reported that four in five pilots working at the company refused to fly the banners. Out of the 85 pilots asked to drag the banners across the sky, only 17 signed on to do the work.

Red Calvert, president of Pro-Air Enterprises in Indianapolis, told Belief Blog: “I respect our country and I respect our churches and we've got enough problems in our country without stirring up some more.”

He added: “If those people want to do something they believe in, fine, just don't include me.”
