Plane Crash Arkansas: 2 Dead - Pryor CEO and Wife Killed in Horrific Crash

A deadly plane crash in Arkansas has left two individuals dead on Monday.

The wreckage of the single-engine Piper Saratoga aircraft, which had disappeared from Air Traffic Control radar on Monday afternoon, was found a day after the crash. The bodies of a husband and wife were found dead in the aircraft - the man is believed to be Ivan Williams, who is the CEO of Williams Construction Company in Pryor. The woman is believed to be Adina - his wife.

The pilot lost contact with Air Traffic Control around 2p.m. on Monday. They were headed to Claremore, Okla. from Sylacuaga, Ala. The plane was scheduled to arrive at 3 p.m. but it is believed to have crashed in the rainy weather.

The missing plane was only found Tuesday morning, 15 miles south of Huntsville in rural western Arkansas.

Local resident Phyllis Turner told 5News: "I think it was around 2:10, 2:30 when I heard the boom," Turner said. "Something had to happen somewhere because there was no traffic out here at all."

The couple were the owners of Williams Construction Co. in Pror, Okla. It is not clear if they owned the aircraft.

Officials are currently investigating the cause of the plane crash.
