Solomon flows through examples of love in the Bible, from Adam and Eve, to Jacob and Rachel, to Boaz and Ruth. There's Proverbs 31 and the crucifixion of Christ. The Houston-based poet delivers an effortless performance with clever turns of phrase like

"I want our honeymoon to be more than just finding good deals on hotel prices and plane tickets on the internet."
