When Melvyn Amrine went missing, his wife of 60 years, Doris, was understandably distressed. Melvyn has Alzheimer's disease, and the effects are starting to show more and more.

Fortunately, police found the Little Rock, Ark. husband, but he wasn't ready to go home yet. In fact, cops say he was "adamant" that he complete his secret mission.

Officers radioed in that they were taking Melvyn home anyway, but first they made the most heartwarming detour. See the surprise that left Doris in tears.
