'Power' Season 2 News, Spoilers: 50 Cent Teases A Major Death
The intense second season of Starz's hit TV series "Power" is now edging closer to its finale, but fans of the show can expect another serving of drama and action as it has already been renewed for another season.
Variety.com says that the network has already picked up the series with another 10 episodes for season 3.
"I am thrilled to learn that season three of Power has been officially ordered by Starz. It is an honor to work with Chris Albrecht [Starz CEO], Carmi Zlotnik [Starz MD], Ken Segna [SVP Original Programming, Starz] and the whole Starz team. Their support has been steadfast from the beginning, and I look forward to a bright future together," executive producer Kemp Agboh said in a statement.
Hip hop artist 50 Cent, whose real name is Curtis James Jackson III, plays as Kanan in the show and also served as its executuve producer. He said that everything in Season 2 is just the beginning as "we are just getting started."
In fact, during the press tour of his latest film with Jake Gyllenhaal, "Southpaw," he revealed that fans should brace themselves in the finale as one of the major characters will die. Who could it be? How will this bitter twist affect next season?
For the meantime, the penultimate episode titled "Time's Up" is expected to be an intense one as Tommy (Joseph Sikora) will find himself in a dilemma.
According to CarterMatt, Ghost's (Omari Hardwick) right hand man must choose to either live the life on the run from the police or face his death at the hands of the cartel.
The report indicated that Ghost appears to consider doing the honourable thing. Will he confess to Angela (Lela Loren) and the federal authorities to save Tommy?
