'Pretty Little Liars' Season 4 Episode 8 Recap: 'The Guilty Girls Handbook'

Mystery abounds on the July 30 episode of ABC Family's hit drama "Pretty Little Liars." In the 8th episode of the season, which is titled "The Guilty Girl's Handbook," audiences get some more information, but most cliffhangers still remain unanswered.

As to the mystery of what actually happened to Toby's mother, the audience got a little bit more information. Spencer, played by Trojan Bellisario, was out to get to the bottom of this mystery during "The Guilty Girl's Handbook," unconvinced that Toby's mother killed herself.

Pretending to bring Radley a tin of cookies, Spencer is able to gain access and talk to a nurse there. Talking to the nurse unveils that the police report of Marion Cavanaugh's death had been changed. She actually jumped off of the roof, not out of the window, like the police report said. Why would the police report be changed? Something certainly seems fishy, and the idea that this was a suicide seems less and less likely with every episode.

Meanwhile, Hannah goes to great lengths to help her own mother. She planned to tell the police that it was her who killed Wilden in a selfless attempt to set her mother free. However, when she showed up to the police station with Mona, Mona ended up telling the police that she was the one who killed Wilden. It's unclear why Mona took the bullet for Hannah.
