Prince William was involved in a daring rescue at see as he assisted in the rescue of two crew members from a crippled Swanland cargo ship off the coast of North Wales.

The 29-year-old Duke of Cambridge, who is also known as Flight Lt. William Wales, co-piloted the helicopter which rescued two of the formally 8-man crew, which became disabled after it cracked its hull due to an encounter with a huge wave around 2:00 a.m.
One crew member was found dead, while the search is ongoing for five people who have been reported missing. The cargo crew is reported to have been Russian. The 265-foot cargo ship was reportedly carrying 3,000 tons of limestone.
Helicopters appear to have become a common interest for William and his younger brother, 27-year-old Prince Harry, who has been going through helicopter training classes, most recently on a U.S. military base in Ariz. The younger prince was expected to spend two months in Gila Bend, Ariz., for intensive training.
Harry and a group of around 20 British airmen were being trained to perform a number of extensive and difficult maneuvers as preparation for a tour of duty in Afghanistan.
