Prisoners Help Take Care of These Horses as Part of Their Rehabilitation

While criminals are often put in prison for a good reason, society tends to forget how difficult life can be for people who truly want to reform their ways. These men rehabilitate themselves by loving and caring for these horses.

After their release, inmates usually finds themselves falling back into old habits and are unable to get a job or develop useful skills. Finding an honest living becomes extremely difficult for them. While there is no excuse for committing a crime, life after prison doesn't make it easy for those looking to change their bad behavior.

Maryland has come up with an amazing program that helps give inmates the skills that can be used to find employment upon release. Programs like this empower inmates to better themselves as they learn new skills to use after their release.
