PS4 vs Xbox One: Which Console has More Impressive Launch Titles?

Sony and Microsoft unveiled their list of games at the Pax Prime video game event earlier this week, and the list of games for the PS4 and the Xbox One is pretty similar.

Sony announced 33 titles to Microsoft's 23, and is offering more exclusive games.

PS4 games announced according to Forbes are: Assassin's Creed Black Flag, Battlefield 4, Call of Duty: Ghosts, Driveclub, FIFA 14, Just Dance 2014, Killzone: Shadow Fall, Knack, LEGO Marvel Super Heroes, Madden NFL 25, NBA 2K14, NBA LIVE, Need for Speed: Rivals, Skylanders: Swap Force, and Watch Dogs.

Available for download only is: Basement Crawl, Blacklight, Contrast, Counterspy, DC Universe, Doki-Doki Universe, Flower, Hohokum, Minecraft, N++, Pinball Arcade, Planetside 2, Pool Nation Extreme, ResoGun, Super Motherland, Tiny Brains, War Thunder, Warframe.

Sony showed off a number of trailers at Gamescon for Rime, Grand Turismo 6, Minecraft, Assassins Creed IV: Black Flag.

Xbox One seems to be lacking a lot of exclusive games, and has many of the games PS4 will have. Microsoft said the new Halo game and Titanfall will be coming in the few months after launch, which will help bolster their original content.

Forbes reports that although the consoles may share many games, certain titles will favor specific consoles. They cited Call of Duty: Ghosts leaning toward the Xbox One while Assassin's Creed will be geared to the PS4 more.

The Xbox One will be launching sometime in November and the PS4 will launch on November 15.
