RHOBH Star Says Spouses Should Hide an Infidelity: Will Marriage Suffer?

Christian Leader Speaks Out on the Adultery 'Free Pass'

Kyle Richards, “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star and aunt to Paris Hilton, wrote in her new book that a spouse shouldn’t report an infidelity if it only happened once.

Kyle Richards, 42, is one of the main stars of the popular reality TV show was interviewed on “Good Morning America” about her new book called “Life Is Not a Reality Show: Keeping It Real With The Housewife Who Does It All.”

When host Robin Roberts asked her about the controversial comments, she defended them saying, “I've seen circumstances with people that I know are in love with their spouse and they made one mistake and I said ‘This is somebody that I know, nobody that anybody knows here.’”

“Listen, if this really was a one time mistake, and you did not put this person in jeopardy, I personally think you should deal with it yourself and with God and not go and say: ‘Honey look what I did,’ because I knew that this would ruin their relationship and their life.”

Richards said that while her husband of 16 years was on set but off screen, the couple she referenced is still together, clarifying, “And it's not me!”

The exact statement in the star’s new book is, “If you cheat on your spouse once do not tell. You get a free pass.”

Dr. Gary Cass of just released a top ten list of anti-Christian acts, and he said Richards’ attitude is selfish and not beneficial to a marriage.

“You cannot conceal things from God,” Dr. Cass said in an interview with The Christian Post. “This is based on a self-delusion that what the spouse doesn’t know doesn’t matter. You have to own up to your sin. You owe your spouse the truth.” is an anti-defamation organization that educates the public on sacrilegious, anti-Christian happenings all over the world.

Media is one of the number one perpetuators of anti-Christian sentiments, according to Dr. Cass. He gave the example of the show “Sister Wives,” which he says “overtly advocates for multiple marriages,” even though the Bible stresses the importance of one man-one woman marriages.

Although some could be offended by Dr. Cass’ perspective, the group leader said he remains unconcerned because he is operates based on Christian tenets.

More secular tenets are used by comedians like Bill Maher, who recently has been openly ridiculing devout Christian: Denver Broncos quarterback Tim Tebow.

Defending him was Dr. Cass, who said, “Tebow is an emblem of Christianity … For better or worse he tries to follow Christianity as best he can.” For Cass, the culture id is trending toward accepting anti-Christian rhetoric and believers must step up and speak out against the actions.

“There is literally something that comes up every week,” he said in reference to the making of the anti- Christian list, “You’d be surprised that Christians respond more negatively to these lists and that’s because Christians think they have to be the doormats of the world.”

Dr. Cass believes it is the responsibility of Christians to respond to these comments.

Although he responded peacefully, Jesus always responded when he was being attacked, and Cass thinks Christians should dot the same. He says the Bible warns us that offenders who have their own problem with Christ will always attack the righteous and that believers must be ready to defend themselves.
