Russian Moms in Touch with Prayer

Russia -- More than 500 mothers from across Russia gathered for the “Moms in Touch” Conference, sponsored by the Moscow Central Church of Evangelical Christians-Baptists, on Nov. 6-7.

Short discussions and forums were held on various themes entitled, “I and my family,” “ Wisdom and Patience,” “Prayer and Faith” and “Our Tongue – Blessing or cursing.”

Held under the auspices of the Baptist World Alliance and organized by Diana Kondratieva, coordinator of the Russian division of Moms in Touch Ministries, the event hoped to spark a greater passion for prayer in the hearts of mothers across the nation.

Four years ago, there were only a few MiT prayer groups scattered athwart Russia; now, there are over 1,700 prayer groups at work in the country.
